Kyle Coffey (Piano, Organ, Accordion, Melodica) is Eastern Electric's keys guru. A native of Salisbury, MD, Kyle grew up performing in bands on the Eastern Shore from an early age. His approach the keys can be described as equal parts Art Neville (The Meters) and Brent Mydland (Grateful Dead) - funky as hell and deeply improvisational.
You can catch him performing with a few other folks in the area as well, including Joe Esham's (EE's Pedal Steel player) solo project, Ramblin' Roots, and Eastern Shore jazz powerhouse, The Larks. Ironically Kyle Coffey is a coffee roaster as well! Visit www.CoffeyTownRoasters.com for some delicous, hand-made, music, java...
